Why grass-finished?
Not all meat is created equal. Finishing cattle with grain can disrupt the healthy ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fats into an unhealthy balance in as little as 7 days. Grass finished beef contains more antioxidants, omega-3’s, CLA, TVA, trace minerals, and vitamins than any other food, including conventional meat.
Humanely raised
Our cows really are happy. We utilize low-stress handling and just one or two really smart cow-dogs to rotate and manage our herd of over 100. Most of the time, we move them with just a whistle and a "Yip, cows". We are certified humane by A Greener World, and undergo rigorous standards and audits.
Why choose us?
We are a small family farm, just Hannah and Jesse, and our four young children, Jensen, Gus, Poppy, and Henry. All of our cattle are born on our ranch and spend their entire lives here. They are always on pasture and only supplemented with hay that we grow, kelp, and salt. We strive to produce the best grass-fed beef, while healing the land.
